unprecedented reliability, durability, survivability,
adaptability, and cost efficiency. |

Total Software Management means
that for the first time, no dedicated hardware assemblies,
jumpers, or switches are used to configure common telecom
signal formats in the UNISync 5G-A - inbound or outbound.In addition, all software
management interfaces are remotely accessible via TCP/IP LAN
allowing full utilization of Centralized Network Operations
Center (CNOC) for alarm monitoring and management.
The US5G-A operates with Intel™
microprocessors on the Com and both IOP modules. The Com
module is the primary home for all system databases, but
DB's are backed up to both IOP modules. Microprocessors on
the output modules enable provisioning and alarm management
to the port level. |
